Prerequisites: This 2-day course is open to Veterinarians, Physical Therapists, Veterinary Technicians, and Physical Therapist Assistants who have successfully completed Introduction to Canine Rehabilitation. All veterinary and physical therapy professionals who have been certified in canine rehabilitation also are welcome to attend any CRI continuing education course.

Course Description: Nutrition in Canine Rehabilitation provides students with a fundamental understanding of how to integrate nutritional management with the rehabilitation of canine patients. Students learn how to formulate dietary recommendations, ways to incorporate nutrition into on-going patient management, and how to critically evaluate nutrition products. A case-based approach encourages students to work together as they make nutritional assessments and recommendations.

This course is now RACE approved by the AAVSB. Veterinarians and veterinary technicians will earn 16 continuing education hours for successful completion of this 2-day course.
