Prerequisites: This 2-day course is open to all CCRTs and CCRPs. Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants can enroll if they have taken Introduction
to Canine Rehabilitation.
Course Description: The concepts and mechanisms of pain are introduced, and assessment techniques and treatment options are covered in depth. An evidence-based rationale for combining pain management with multiple treatment modalities for better outcomes is presented. Participants work together to create combined drug, dietary and manual treatment plans for various case scenarios.
